Record Breaking Year

Findlay Fund Has Record-Breaking Year

Great things are continuing to happen for our students thanks to The President’s Leadership Society and other Findlay Fund givers!

This fund has the distinction of having the greatest impact at UF because it assists in so many areas. Funds are used for necessities that range from classroom technology upgrades to supporting research initiatives and vital student wellness services.

Just a few of the many successes that have come for UF in 2018-19 with the help of a record-setting year for unrestricted funds are:

A BUILDING PROJECT – The Mazza Museum is preparing to break ground on a new 4,000-square-foot addition to the Mazza Museum. The Conda STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics/medicine) Education Center will blend the art of picture books with hard science for children of all ages.

AN ANIMAL STUDIES PARTNERSHIP – The University solidified its collaboration with Loop Abroad, the top veterinary study abroad program in the country, by being named the school of record for the organization. As part of the partnership, Findlay students and students from any other university who participate in the program will earn college credit for their study abroad experience with Loop from UF.

A BIG EQUESTRIAN WIN – Once again, the talent of our equestrian riders and coaches put the national spotlight on the University this past spring. For the second consecutive year, the IHSA Western team was the American Quarter Horse Association national champion. This win marks the seventh National Championship for the IHSA Western Team.

MORE GIVING – The success of the University’s spring 2019 Day of Giving was record breaking. UF more than doubled its goal of 250 donations in a 24-hour period on March 20 and 21 by receiving 584 gifts totaling $100,565.
